I am not a developer. I am a founder who codes when the problem in front of me is cheaper to solve than to outsource.

Last year, I was losing one hour every day publishing the same video manually to four platforms — ISTCKonnect, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Meta. Separately. One by one. Every single day.

I built a tool to fix that. I called it Beam.

What I didn't plan for — Beam ended up solving a problem far more important than saving time.

The Problem Nobody Talks About

Every video you post on social media gets compressed, re-encoded, and stored on someone else's server. When you want it back — for an edit, an archive, a repost — you search for it. You use third-party tools. You get it back with watermarks, in reduced quality, weeks after you originally uploaded a file you spent hours creating.

Your content is not yours. You just use it on platforms that own it.

I didn't set out to fix this. I was trying to save an hour. But when I built the publishing workflow, I added one step — upload to my own cloud storage bucket first, then publish to the platforms.

That step changed everything.

Every video I publish now lives in my own storage, in its original uncompressed quality, permanently. The platforms get a copy. I keep the master.

What Beam Does

Beam is a managed video publishing platform. You upload one MP4. It publishes to YouTube, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and LinkedIn — simultaneously or on a schedule you set.

But the part worth paying attention to is this: before anything goes to any platform, your video is stored in your own S3-compatible storage bucket — Cloudflare R2 or Bagful Object Storage. You own the file. Not the platform. You.

The other features worth knowing about:

  • AI content optimisation — Connect your own OpenAI key. Write one title and one description in your own words. Beam generates platform-optimised versions for each network — adapting tone, length, hashtags, and structure. You review and approve before anything goes live.
  • Per-platform preview — Tabbed preview shows exactly how your post will appear on each platform. Edit inline. Character counts and platform-specific warnings included.
  • Scheduled publishing — Set a date and time. Beam handles it. No manual trigger.
  • Post history — Full log of every published post with live links back to each platform.
  • Setup wizard — 6-step OAuth wizard connects each platform in minutes.

Why I'm Writing About This Here

This is not a product page. That's at fidus.one/apps/beam.

I'm writing about it here because the content ownership problem is real, and most people creating content every day don't know it exists until they need their own video back and can't find it cleanly.

If you are a founder, a business owner, or anyone publishing video content regularly — you are creating assets. Treat them like assets. Store them like assets.

The hour I saved was a bonus. The library of original content I now own permanently — that's the actual value.

The Numbers

Three ways to get started — pick what works for your business:

  • Monthly — ₹499/month + ₹1,000 one-time setup fee. Full flexibility. No long-term commitment.
  • Quarterly — ₹1,299 every 3 months (₹433/month effective). No setup fee. Commit for a quarter, save on the monthly rate.
  • Annual — ₹4,999/year (₹417/month effective). No setup fee. Best value. One payment, full year.

All features included across all plans. Managed instance on Bagful infrastructure — your own subdomain, your own database, your own storage bucket. No cPanel, no server management, no technical overhead.

One More Thing

I built this for myself. I tested it on ISTCKonnect. I'm using it every day.

That's the only way I release anything — use it first, break it first, fix it first. Then make it available to others.
